Honest to Goodness Fine Celtic Sea Salt 600g

Hand-harvested from the coastal salt marshes of Guérande in France, this unrefined sea salt is sun-dried, additive-free, and naturally grey from mineral-rich clay. Ideal for seasoning during cooking, for pure mineral-rich flavour.

Unlike heavily processed table salt, this Celtic Sea Salt is harvested using non-mechanised, human scale farmlands, allowing for the necessary time and care to be taken when cultivating this salt. This unwashed, unrefined and additive-free salt retains its natural mineral content and distinctive flavour.

Both the Honest to Goodness Coarse and Fine Celtic Sea Salt are sourced from the saline marshlands of Le Guérande in Western France and hand-harvested using traditional techniques. It naturally develops its grey colour when the salt crystallises on contact with the clay found in the salt marshes, reflecting its natural extraction and minimal processing.

Compared to regular table salt, which is refined and processed at high temperatures, Celtic Sea Salt has a richer flavour and more natural texture. Its lightly sea-kissed taste enhances stocks, vegetables, pasta water, barbequed meats, fish baked in salt crusts and more.

Celtic Sea Salt is less processed than many other salts and is known for its moist texture and light grey hue. Natural harvesting methods help preserve trace minerals including magnesium, calcium and potassium.
